Public Call for Participation in Digital Governance Training!
May 21-23, 2025 Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Internet Governance School — “Understanding the Digital Future of Central Asia”
We invite mid-level specialists, young leaders, civil servants, representatives of civil society, journalists, as well as business and technology sector representatives from Central Asia to participate in the training!
Training Goal: To develop the capacity for meaningful participation in the CA IGF and the global IGF by deepening the understanding of key thematic areas and regional priorities on digital governance.
*The Call will consider supporting individual stakeholders that fulfill the following criteria:
· Represent any stakeholder group;
· Are from a Least Developed Country, Landlocked Developing Country, Small Island Developing State or Economy in Transition;
· Are interested in engaging further in the CAIGF and IGF 2025 process as active contributors (e.g. to the intersessional and work of national and regional IGF initiatives, ; as session co-organizers, session speakers, moderators and rapporteurs);
· Demonstrate interest in Internet governance-related activities;
· Show a demonstrated commitment to contributing to its community after participating at the IGF;
· Are recommended by a respected community member.
Preference may be given to underrepresented groups, such as: women, indigenous people, persons with disabilities, elderly population, youth.
Those requesting partial funding will be given preference over others, should all criteria be met.
Those that did not receive travel support in past may be given preference, should all criteria be met.
