The Central Asia Internet Governance Forum (CAIGF 2022) will be held on September 13-14, 2022.

The Central Asia Internet Governance Forum (CA IGF) is a sub-regional initiative of the global Internet Governance Forum (IGF) – which in turn is convened by the Secretary General of the United Nations and is a global multi-stakeholder international forum for dialogue on Internet governance issues. At their annual meetings, delegates with policy-making powers in both the public and private sectors discuss and exchange information on public policy issues related to the Internet, promoting a common understanding of how to maximize the opportunities of the Internet and address emerging risks and challenges. .
CA IGF is a regional international platform for representatives of governments, business, international, non-governmental organizations, experts from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan. The main goal of the Forum is to create a public platform for discussing relevant policies regarding Internet governance in the Central Asian region. Since 2016, the forum has been held annually in Bishkek, Astana, Tashkent, Dushanbe. In the current 2022, the right to meet forum participants and form the agenda belongs to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Experts from neighboring states are traditionally invited to participate in the Forum, given the commonality of problems in the digital space.

The PF Civil Initiative on InternetPolicysupports the Central Asia IGF as a neutral secretariat, endorsedby the //Central Asia IGF//multistakeholder organizing committee.

At the moment, the forum program is being discussed and decided by the organizing committee
